Boats, Slip, & Lift Rules & Regulations

1. No boat occupying a slip shall exceed 23’~ ll” in length. Canopy’s not allowed.
2. No boat may exceed 2,300 lbs. or 17.6″ in length. On Hewitt lifts.
3. No water craft may exceed 900 lbs. on wave runner shore station lifts
4. Any alterations to lift must be approved by Pier & Boat Chairman.
5. Any cutting, drilling of holes on SSH owned lifts or shore station is prohibited.
6. No boat or watercraft will extend over front of pier by more than 6 inches.
7. Must provide manufactures specifications of watercraft, current registration, and copy of insurance, prior to occupying any boat space.
8. All boats or watercraft must occupy rented space by July 1st.
9. All boats must be removed from rented space by Oct. 15th.
10. Absolutely NO boats or watercraft are allowed inside the pier/ swim area.
11. All lifts should bc locked for your protection.
12. Any damage caused to the lifts/ shore station will be the responsibility of the member occupying that space.
13. Only one water craft is allowed to a lift.
14. Only the water craft registered with the Association. is allowed to occupy any boat space.
15.  Occupants of boat/water craft should unload passengers prior to raising lift.
16. All boats and water craft must have current WI registration displayed on boat.
17. All motorized boats and water craft must be insured.
18. All boats and watercraft must leave and return to pier in a safe manner.
19. All lifts and shore station must be cranked in the full upright position when occupied.

Failure to obey these rules could result in the loss of boat or watercraft space. Sunset Hills Association reserves the right not to allow any boat or watercraft on rented lift or shore station if deemed unsafe.
